The Vine Church is a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield-Suisun, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization (EIN 23-7295472) located at 600 Gregory Ln, Fairfield, CA 94533. “The Vine Church” is the doing-business-as name of that organization, which owns and operates this website, www.thevine.life, and is the data controller responsible for the information described in this policy. Throughout this policy, “we,” “us,” and “the church” refer to that same entity. You can reach us anytime at info@thevine.life or (707) 422-7037.

When you fill out our contact form, we ask for your name, a way to reach you (email address or phone number), and your message. This information is delivered by email to our ministry staff so we can respond to you — whether that's answering a question, praying for you, or helping you take a next step. We use it only for that purpose.

If you request prayer or share pastoral matters with us, we treat that information with particular care and discretion, sharing it only with the ministry leaders who need it to serve you.

Online giving, event registration, and group signups are processed through Church Center, a service operated by Planning Center. When you give or register, the information you enter — including any payment details — is collected and processed by Planning Center on our behalf, subject to Planning Center's privacy policy. This website never sees or stores your full card or bank account numbers.

We use giving records to provide the year-end contribution statements the IRS requires for tax-deductible gifts, and we keep them confidential — giving history is visible only to the small number of people responsible for the church's financial administration. Those statements are issued in the church's registered legal name, Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield-Suisun.

Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how people find and use our site so we can serve our community better. We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which set cookies and collect information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, and the device and browser you use. These tools do not tell us who you are.

Some pages embed content from other services — for example, sermon videos hosted on YouTube. When you interact with embedded content, those services may collect data as described in their own privacy policies.

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your questions, prayer requests, and connection requests
• Process donations and provide contribution statements
• Register you for events and groups you sign up for
• Understand how the website is used and improve it

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.

We share personal information only:

• With service providers who help us operate — such as Planning Center for giving and registration — and only as needed for them to do so
• Within our ministry staff and volunteer leaders, as needed to care for you
• When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a person

• You can browse this entire website without filling out any form or creating any account.
• You can set your browser to refuse cookies, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we are legally required to keep, such as contribution records). Email info@thevine.life and we will respond promptly.

We love kids — but this website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Registration for children's ministries and events is completed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

This website is served entirely over HTTPS, and the information you submit is encrypted in transit. We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we limit access to the staff and leaders who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you entrust to us.

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be noted clearly.
